Q1: How do I pay for my registration?

A1: By check or PayPal. Please see the Registration page for details.

 

Q2: Do I get a discount if I register early?

A2: YES. You pay $60 prior to Dec 31, and $80 thereafter.

 

Q3: How should I get from LAX to the hotel?

A3: PrimeTime Shuttle is your best bet. Public transportation may take 2-3 hours total!

 

Q4: Is there parking available if I drive?

A4: Parking is problematic in the area around USC, so please contact the hotel to make arrangements. There is limited parking available on campus (info HERE)

 

Q5: When should I arrive/depart LAX?

A5: Main events run from 5:30pm Friday, Feb 19, until 9:30am Sunday, Feb 21. For Friday afternoon arrivals, try to arrive LAX by 3pm. For Sunday departure, plan on a 45-minute ride from USC/Radisson to LAX - and arrive 1.5 hours early for domestic departures.

 

Q6: Where do I go when I arrive?

A6: Please make your way to the Radisson at USC lobby for convention check-in. There will be a welcome table in the hotel lobby from 1-5pm on Friday.

 

Q7: Can I get a discounted rate at the hotel for additional pre-/post- nights? 

A7: The promotional code is only guaranteed for the two primary convention nights of Feb 19 & 20. If guest need to stay a day or two earlier or after these dates, a discount may be available based on space but only by calling the hotel directly at 213.748.4141.

 

Q8: What additional costs should I budget for? 

A8: After your flight and $80 registration fee, you will need $29 for rountrip LAX PrimeTime shuttle (pre-pay this - see "Visitor Info" page). There will be multiple options for entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights that may require metro fare ($3.50 roundtrip) or other associated costs. Meals are included with your registration fee, but drinks/refreshments during social outings are paid for by the student.
